San Antonio ISD unveils a new redesign for its Martin Luther King Jr. Academy funded by Bond 2020 investments. The new design was unveiled by Yvonne Little, Executive Director of Capital Development and Construction Services during the morning convocation speeches at the Martin Luther King Jr. March on Monday, January 19. The new state of the art academy is a part of SAISD’s new path forward – an initiative to ensure students have access to efficient and modern learning spaces.
Planned scope include:
Brand new classrooms, laboratories and library,
New fine arts spaces
Brand new gym, physical education support spaces and playgrounds,
New student dining space, kitchen, auditorium and main office
Enhanced security features.
