SAISD Students and Staff shovel dirt for ceremony

San Antonio ISD hosted a groundbreaking ceremony at Highland Hills Elementary School to celebrate the beginning of its Bond 2020-funded upgrades to the campus on September 22nd. The ceremony was hosted by SAISD’s Senior Executive Director of Planning & Construction, Yvonne Little with speeches from Patti Salzmann, SAISD Deputy Superintendent and Vanessa Cartwright, Highland Hills’ Principal as well as representatives from Huckabee Architects and Satterfield & Pontikes Construction.
